Sahu ram swaroop mahila mahavidyalaya is one of the leading institutions of higher education for girls in bareilly. we firmly believe that education is a lifelong process and institutions of higher education enjoy a unique position in this mission. they not only shape the career of students and give wings to their aspirations but also bridge the socio-economic gap in the process.

Playing the roles of mentor and motivator, the stakeholders of the institution are committed to making the students self- reliant and generate in them an awareness of their duty towards society. our college puts an emphasis on an all- round development of the students and this is reflected in the year-round academic, co-curricular, extracurricular and extension activities in the college.

The faculty and staff of the college work together in the spirit of a family. it is a matter of pride for us that we have a faculty driven towards achieving excellence in teaching, counselling and mentoring the students. our objective is to make them good human beings who would serve the nation by being good citizens.

The college is also actively engaged in research work at ph.d level in a number of subjects such as home science, music, sociology and economics.
