Grievance Redressal Cell

The institution has a grievance redressal cell. It looks into general and academic complaints of the staff and students. It promptly tries to offer solutions for their redressal in periodical meetings of the committee. The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the college.

Research Development Cell

Indian language Culture and Arts Cell

India has a heritage of culture, developed over thousands of years and manifested in the form of arts, works of literature, traditions, music, paintings, and many more forms. The college has a rich Drawing and Painting Department, a multi faceted Music Department and English, Hindi, Sanskrit Departments, which are committed not only to academic activities but also in generating awareness in students about our cultural heritage. The vision of the cell is to preserve, promote and disseminate all forms of Language, art and culture in order to achieve the goal of holistic development.

Social sciences Cell

Social sciences are the study of human behaviour and interaction in social, cultural, environmental, economic and political contexts. Thinking about and responding to socio-economics-political issues requires an understanding of the key historical, geographical, political, economic and societal factors involved, and how these different factors interrelate. Moving beyond the boundaries of the department, the Social Science Cell has been formed to enable the departments to come together and organise academic and Cocurricular activities which highlight the inter – relationship between them and help the students to develop a better understanding of society.

Training and placement Cell

Training & Placement Cell play’s an important role in a student’s future. It continuously strives to help students in pursuing their career goals by counselling them and providing them opportunities for acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately attain desired employment. It provides career guidance to all the students through training programmes like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Communication Skills Workshop etc.

Gender Sensitisation and Specially Enabled Sensitisation Cell

The cell aims to generate in students the awareness about gender issues and create an enabling environment of gender justice. It strives to provide an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to understand the social and cultural constructions of gender that shapes the experiences of women and men in society, to generate the awareness in regard to equality in law, social system and democratic activities. The cell will take measures to integrating/mainstreaming gender in all activities of the Institution in the form of focused group discussions, debates, poster making competitions etc.

Environmental Sustainability Cell

The Cell’s objective is to implement the ‘Green Campus Policy of the college through initiatives like infrastructural, administrative activities related to energy efficiency, co-curricular and extracurricular acticities that encourage all stakeholders to take the lead in creating positive changes in the Global environment and activities for creating awareness in students about issues like global warming, climate change, pollution etc.
