The Department of Drawing and Painting, Music and Sociology and Economics are recognized as research Centres and faculty members of these departments are research guides and many PhD students are enrolled in the college.
High level research work has been an integral part of the college for the past 20 years approximately four minor/major research projects of the faculty have also been approved by the UGC.
The rich library of the degree college, which is upgraded regularly and is undergoing automation and digitalization, plays a vital role in these research works and projects.
